Midland is well serviced in healthcare. There are two hospitals in the area with active and chronic care beds. It also offers nursing homes, retirement residences, a sports injury clinic, and a selection of pharmacies. Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland provides active treatment in emergency, surgery, obstetrics, and medicine, while the Penetanguishene branch offers rehabilitation, chronic care and outpatient clinics.
Penetanguishene Mental Health Centre has over 294 beds and offers outpatient services and care in the region.
Huronia Medical Centre is a private facility run by a physician consortium that offers care to their patients along with a variety of testing departments to include laboratory, x-ray, etc.
