Tiny Township is comprised of a large rural region and many shoreline communities, and also includes the villages of Perkinsfield, Lafontaine, Wyevale, and Wyebridge.
Tiny Township considers itself an “environmentally focused” region. In fact its guiding principles are focused on preserving and enhancing its irreplaceable natural environment, while also allowing for development and growth.
Tiny is home to the Tiny Marsh Provincial Wildlife Area which is Ontario’s first provincially owned and managed wetland. Residents and visitors can also enjoy the pristine Awenda Provincial Park region which is set on the shores of Georgian Bay. This is a popular attraction for camping, hiking and cross-country skiing.
Tiny is home to thousands of year round residents and many thousands of seasonal residents. Take your choice of shoreline properties with a view of sparkling Georgian Bay, or maybe your tastes turn to a more rustic, peaceful country home. You will find all this and more.
Tiny bustles with employment throughout the region. Agriculture is a staple, along with forestry operations. Tourism and Recreation play a huge part in creating the many small business enterprises required to support these two industries.
Although Tiny Township is a long established and stable region, its opportunities for growth remain limitless. Their strategic vision is very progressive. Consequently they are looking to attract more permanent residents, enterprising business people looking for new territory, and those who just want to enjoy the seasonal wonders of this region.
